Summary

FROM FORMER GREEN BERET AND USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR JASON KASPER For David Rivers and his team, the mission was supposed to be simple—retrieve a defecting militia leader and deliver him to CIA interrogators。 But nothing is simple in Yemen, where vast swaths of terrain are controlled by Houthi and Al Qaeda fighters。 When they locate the asset, the team discovers why he has been deemed critical to their intelligence effort。 The defector has direct knowledge of the team’s top Erik Weisz, the shadowy figurehead behind the most catastrophic terrorist attacks since 9/11。 And as it turns out, Weisz is currently in Yemen, traveling through Houthi territory with heavy security。 As David’s crew prepares for a follow-on operation to remove Weisz once and for all, they discover a web of contradictions。 A sudden order to stand down leaves the unit questioning the motives of their CIA handler。 With suspicious leadership and a deadly conspiracy looming, the team boards a military aircraft to infiltrate the most dangerous corners of a war-torn desert。 David is convinced it will be their bloodiest mission yet—and within hours of being inserted deep into the badlands of Yemen, he and his team realize they are pawns in an exceedingly deadly game of chess。

David and his team are back and this time they are in Yemen。 The Shadow Strike series is one of those I actively watch for new releases as I love it so much。 This has the same ingredients that make the previous books so good - the banter between the team, the writing style that puts you in the action with the team, the fast paced high octane action I have come to know and love。 Jason Kasper knocks it out of the park yet again with this book。 Now for the potential spoilers(view spoiler)[ This fee David and his team are back and this time they are in Yemen。 The Shadow Strike series is one of those I actively watch for new releases as I love it so much。 This has the same ingredients that make the previous books so good - the banter between the team, the writing style that puts you in the action with the team, the fast paced high octane action I have come to know and love。 Jason Kasper knocks it out of the park yet again with this book。 Now for the potential spoilers(view spoiler)[ This feels like a goodbye to the team in large part which I really hope its not。 I hope it's just Jason's way of introducing a second team and spreading the action around a bit。 I don't want to lose David's team。 (hide spoiler)] 。。。more

A continuation of the Shadow Strike group。 Well written and researched。 Full of twists and turns woven together into a fascinating storyline that you will not want to put down until you finish it!

The changing of the guard is finalized and there’s a huge surprise out of nowhere。 And of course, there’s no transparency at all。 The entire book literally keeps you on the edge of your chair。 One chapter is a masterpiece unto itself。 You can trust the accuracy of the secret ops of five undercover operatives because Jason was a former Green Beret, etc。: precision, chaos, precision, chaos…improvision is a constant factor。 For those of you who have read the previous Shadow Strike series, you will The changing of the guard is finalized and there’s a huge surprise out of nowhere。 And of course, there’s no transparency at all。 The entire book literally keeps you on the edge of your chair。 One chapter is a masterpiece unto itself。 You can trust the accuracy of the secret ops of five undercover operatives because Jason was a former Green Beret, etc。: precision, chaos, precision, chaos…improvision is a constant factor。 For those of you who have read the previous Shadow Strike series, you will notice a new dynamic shift between the five main characters。 The ultimate goal is accomplished but at what price and with how many lies。 And exactly how does a family life fit into this mix? I have read all of this series of thrillers as well as his Spider Heist series。 This is Jason Kasper at his best。 。。。more

I received an advanced copy of this book for my honest review。 The series is great and should be read in order。 I believe that this is the best book in the series so far。 The book starts fast and the pace slows occasionally for the reader to catch a breath。 As I stated before this series should be read in order to get the main characters figured out and remembered。 The next book can’t come fast enough for me。

David River is back in Lethal Horizon the seventh book in the Shadow Strike series by Jason Kasper。 This is one of the best yet in this series and some things will be revealed that you didn't see coming。 The banter in the small group of warriors is one of the things I really like about these books and they travel all over the world on their missions。 I'm stuggling to keep up with reading these books by Kasper since I started at the end and have to get all the old ones and catch up on the story。 David River is back in Lethal Horizon the seventh book in the Shadow Strike series by Jason Kasper。 This is one of the best yet in this series and some things will be revealed that you didn't see coming。 The banter in the small group of warriors is one of the things I really like about these books and they travel all over the world on their missions。 I'm stuggling to keep up with reading these books by Kasper since I started at the end and have to get all the old ones and catch up on the story。 I will recommend the books and thank Severn River Publishing and Edelweiss for letting me read this advance copy。 。。。more

In Lethal Horizon, David and his team go to Yemen for a mission and, of course, nothing goes as planned。 Great plot, cast of characters, and thrilling action。 My only problem with this book was the over describing of certain scenes。 I have been a fan of Jason Kasper for quite some time and will continue。Thanks to Severn River Publishing and NetGalley for the ARC and I highly recommend reading this book; or anything by Jason Kasper。

When David and his team are sent in to remove an asset in Yemen they have no idea that it may lead to their greatest and most searched for terrorist yet。 But true to form there are always curveballs and impossible decisions to be made。 This book will keep all of us hanging on for the next word。 I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review。

As the series continues, it keeps to getting better。。 The strike force seems to be pawns as they face a foe more nefarious than anyone should oppose, but add in the duplicity of their so-called support, and you get a taut, fast-paced action thriller。 I received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher and voluntarily provided an honest review。

David Rivers and his team are assigned to capture or kill a target in Yemen。 They have to go into a territory controlled by terrorists。 While on the mission they find a member of another team that was sent on the same mission, but his team was captured。 Rivers decides on doing a rescue in addition to the original plan。 A lot of action that keeps your interest。

What a non stop action mission!! Go for their ultimate target as if that's not enough, then another "mission " falls in their laps。 We know they always complete their missions at what ever cost!!! Rivers and his team are back with their biggest challenge yet! What started as a simple yet dangerous mission to rescue an intelligence source becomes a chance to finally take out terrorist financier and kingpin Erik Weisz, the ultimate goal all their other missions have led up to。 To do so, the team has to navigate the most inhospitable place on Earth with the least amount of resources。 It looks like a suicide mission from the get go, but along the way they also discover a secret - they're not Rivers and his team are back with their biggest challenge yet!
